While professors assume the loftiest tone imaginable, and expects us to receive their mere speculations and fancies as gospel truths. In the cat, the teaching of the Bible is entirely ignored in their fascinating speculations, and one is ridiculed these days for suggesting that possibly the ancients were more correct in their ideas of the universe than are the moderns. If, as you say, “the nebular hypothesis of Laplace really represents the extent of our astronomical knowledge,” and this hypothesis should prove an unfounded speculation, how much real knowledge is there in this modern and much-vaunted “science” after all? It would, as the Apostle Paul says, be a “science falsely so-called;” yet many professing Christians, alas! Swallow down anything in the name of “science” with open mouths, while the account given by Moses of the creation of the world is poop-poohed as old-fashioned and out of date.

Two boys and a telescope
How two boys can show the astronomers wrong.
Say there are two boys out camping. One boy brings his telescope, as the stars are bright in the country (when there is no chemtrailing lol). Chas sets up his telescope and finds the star Sirius. He yells over to George to take a look. George was busy preparing the camp fire so he comes over about one minute later. He looks through the 2x barlow lens of the 300x telescope and says, “Cool, nice star.”
What's wrong with this picture?
Most people would say nothing; certainly an astronomer would see nothing wrong.
Well, there is something wrong.
IF what we are told by astronomers that we are spinning on our axis at 1,000 mph, how could anyone train their telescope on a star? In this imaginary story – which happens in real life all the time – the telescope is on the ground and not moving. After one minute the other boy can still see Sirius without any adjustment. How can this be when they are moving 1,000 mph? They (as well as the whole world) would have moved through space.
In order for the kids to view the star, planet or anything in space, that star would have to perfectly monitor the earth's move. If it's a planet in our solar system, it would have to do it from millions of miles away; if it's Sirius, for example, it would have to exactly trace the movement of earth from about 8.5 light years away!
If this wasn't bad enough, all the heavenly bodies would have to exactly match that of earth's when earth is ALSO going around the Sun at 67,000 mph. Then, our solar system is going around The Milky Way at 500,000 mph. Finally, we are moving away from “the Big Bang” at – hold on to your seat – at the speed of light doing 670 million miles an hour. At least, that is what we are told.
Now, if some astronomer says it's because of the (and he pulls a name out of his as...I mean his head) and says, “It's because of the Maxwell Doppler Effect.” You would say, “Oh, OK.” And you would think this is the answer.
The astronomer would go on to say some garb belly-gook, and says that everything is relative to itself. For most people, this would be satisfactory – I know it was for me unitl I realized it was not so a short time ago.
So, Chas' father tells him to get in the flat bed truck with the telescope and focus it on the moon (it could be on any thing but the moon would do). This is what the two boys do. When they are all set, the father starts the truck and moves at a slow 5 mph. He tells Chas to look again in the telescope; Chas does and the moon is not in view. George takes a peek, and he, too doesn't see the moon.
The purpose is, that even going at a very slow 5 mph changes the position of the telescope; so, how in the world can the boys – or anyone else – see stars while the telescope is on the ground? They CAN'T – IF the world is moving. That means the earth is not moving at those fantastic speeds I stated above; that means that earth can't even be moving at slow 5 mph.
If people READ and STUDY the Bible instead of critising it, they would know. These critics are quick to read other peoples' books; they are quick to believe some guy – even if he calls himself a scientist – who tells them wild and fanciful things. But they don't believe in the word of God. So, who is a fool?
Here are just three verses in reference to what I just said:
1 Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”
Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm …”
Psalm 96:10: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable …”
“Fixed, immovable, firm,” what does that mean? Exactly what it says. In short, it means, “It aint going anywhere.”
“But we know the stars move.” Yes, they do, and you hit the target, it's the stars moving, not earth. However, the stars are not what you think they are and they are not where you think they are, but that is another story that would take another article. So, stay tuned...

Horizon Momentarily Becomes Convex
I think the flat earth belief is worrying some of our so-called leaders. I have seen on TV a couple of time, from different programs, where there is a view from a high altitude of a panoramic lens used to make the earth look curved. Then, it goes back to a regular lens – strange!
Just yesterday there was a program about old English villages and this one is where they build bi-planes – like the kind used during WWI. Anyhow, when this English actress from the 1970s got in the plane, there was a shot of the horizon with just such a lens used. The horizon all of a sudden became convex. On other scenes, the view was normal – meaning level.
In fact, for the earth to go from a convex shape to a flat shape is harder to believe than the earth being a ball.
When you watch a TV program, see if you can spot any of this monkeying around of the horizon.
Yesterday, I also came across an interesting video of a real camera shot made at 90,000 feet. This shows the horizon at eye level AND with it flat. Explain that NASA?
