It is truly terrible, the amount of senseless, brutal shoot-ups which the country has been experiencing... I will point out to you that it is an unbelievably boring country. All this violence is no medicine for this, of course- makes things worse! People are broken-hearted; many, largely children, are simply dropping dead from Sorrow- the medical people are saying it's flu... Which brings us to one of the first items for possibly improvement: Don't let a powerful paramilitary organization, like this medical association, acting with covert motives, cozen you so much! You know what they're up to right now- they want to sterilize you, get a load of money, and raise the big families themselves, that their ranks may preponderate. Those who want to analyze your genes in a laboratory, advertising prolifically, want to sterilize you, too!
As regards the possibility of improvement- of becoming something other than an unbelievably boring, moribund-mood civilization- I fear this would not be possible, without an ethnically consanguineous population. There are some very different ethnicities you do suffer to live here, and perhaps could continue to do so- but here is a very simple precept, which any person of average or above average intelligence can understand: You should not have two very different ethnicities living at close quarters in the same area unless each is making a decision collectively to intermarry, mix their genes together. This is probably related to the next attribute of a less boring society, that sex out in the open shouldn't be so taboo and illegal as it is; mores should be freer generally. You should have your parks and public places, monoethnic basically... The native Indians should enjoy a good piece of such a different sort of arrangement. You should have no contraindicated, invasive species sorts anywhere in the land, of course. Your population could be thinner, generally.
I believe that, as far as civilizations go, we're one of the worst types, really...
