Using the Flat Earth Analogy the Wrong Way
Yesterday, I heard Gary Craig talk before an auditorium room full of people on alternative healing (Craig is the founder of Emotional Freedom Technique). There was a big poster on stage with him of hands holding up a globe earth. He said he would make an analogy that everyone has heard of before and he showed on the screen a picture of a square earth with water falling off the sides. He said that by perception, it looks like we live on a flat earth, he continued, “We look out to the sea and we see that it's flat, we look at the sun and see it move. (That's because it is FLAT!)
Now, let me say here, that Gary Craig is not some no-body but someone that has about a million followers of his EFT course. So, he does influence many people.
Continuing...
All of this talk about the flat earth was to introduce the audience to his next subject, and that is, “that this is not reality; we think it's reality.” He then asked the people, “How many of you think that the earth is round?” Gary then showed on the screen, through his computer, a box image (that represented the earth) and said that the earth is nothing.
At this point, Gary really went off the deep end. In other words, he thinks that everything is imaginary. What was more shocking is, that there wasn't a peep out of the audience – no objections at all; at least no one voiced their beliefs contrary to what was said.
You should really watch this video. (Do a search on YouTube. I thought I had the link but I don't.) His talk about the flat earth appears about 3 minutes in and it lasts a couple of minutes, then, he goes into this fairy tail, 1970s New Age woo-woo stuff.
I'm not doubting the healing modality, as I had used EFT on others with great success. But what I don't like is him using the flat earth as an analogy AND this nonsense that all we see, hear, feel and touch is not real. All I have to say is, “Get Real!”

I agree, this is ridicules. But there is a deeper purpose behind this (my theory but I think it holds water).
In the early 19th Century a distorted interpretation of the Bible was started called The Rapture. And with this, it was a way to get Christians NOT invovled in politics, economy, etc. This is so those who really control us will not have to worry; they have the Christians believing, “It doesn't matter what happens as we are going to be raptured to heaven.” Zoom up, nearly 200 years and the control freaks know they have to make changes as most people don't go to church so they won't hear the rapture fairy tail. Their plans now is to go after the secular group of people, even those who are agnostic; get them to follow the gurus who push “this is not reality” stuff. It's basically a return of the New Age movement. Once people believe that “what we see is all artificial construct; and all is love, we must have unconditional love” this is EXACTLY what the Zionist and their boot-lickers want to see. Then, the people will not become a threat to them. As you can see, it has worked for them. Just look at the Bankers who have stolen money from the people – where are they? They are still at work, handing out huge bonuses to each other and the people are allowing it. Thus, “this is not reality crap” is working. What do you think this is about?

Yea, I saw this video just now. Craig said something like, “The round earth concept was first discovered in Greece 500 BC and it took 2,000 years before people believed it.” In other words telling others how slow it was for the world to change; for science to change.
Here is what we can say, “The round earth concept was first thought of in 500 BC, and it took the world 2,000 years to believe a LIE!”
